The following steps will show us how to disassemble and replace the timing belt of the Audi A6 2.0 TDI. First, lift the car and start by disassembling and removing the right front wheel and the wheel arch; then unscrew all the screws of the front bumper to remove it, also removing the distribution side headlight. At this point, remove the distribution cover, disconnecting the V-belt; take the necessary references for the replacement of the timing belt, then perform the correct timing. Afterwards, the water pump is also replaced.
