How do you replace the Audi A6 water pump?

Model: Audi A6 C7, MK 4 - Years 2011-2018
Part: Pump

To be able to replace the Audi A6 water pump, you need to open the hood, in order to have access to the components inside the engine compartment. It will be necessary to remove the plastic cover of the upper part of the engine block and the radiator, so that the latter can be removed from its housing by unscrewing the screws and disconnecting the connectors. When the radiator has been removed, you will have access to the front of the engine, where the pulleys, belt and associated water pump are located: reducing the tension on the belt will allow access to the water pump, which will need to be removed from its housing by unscrewing the screws that fix it. In this way it will be possible to insert the new spare part and assemble all the previously removed components.
