How to Replace the Timing Belt on an Audi A6

Let's see how to replace the timing belt on an Audi A6. Open the hood and lift it, securing it with the prop rod. Remove the front bumper (if you have space issues for removing the belts), disconnect the power wiring with pliers, and remove the plastic soundproofing panel with a screwdriver. Lift the car with a column lift to access the underside if necessary. Loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the tensioner pulley bolt and remove the water pump. Install the new water pump, the tensioner, and the belt itself, tightening everything with the socket wrench.
