Audi A6 - Video tutorial

Model: Audi A6 MK 2, C5 - Years 1997-2004
Part: Radiator
Operation: Removing the radiator and front bumper

Using a ratchet wrench, start removing the engine guard screws starting from the fender. The anchor points are distributed around the bumper and under the car. Remove the radiator supply pipe and block the flow of coolant with a wrench. Disconnect the electrical cables of the cooling fans and the remaining pipes. Remove the plastic grilles from the bumper to access the bumper sealing screws. Remove the bumper and start freeing the front by unscrewing the screws that anchor it to the bodywork. Remove the coolant reservoir. A service device allows the entire front to be removed without necessarily completely disassembling it. With the front in this position it is now possible to access the radiator for subsequent removal.
