How to change the grille of the Audi A3 8V

In this video, we will see how to make an important aesthetic modification on an Audi A3 8V, namely, changing the front grille with a honeycomb one: we will have to remove the bumper, starting from the wheel arches, from which we will remove the fixing bolts; once inside, we will remove the bolts that secure the bumper to the body, then we will go under the car to remove the ones below; we will then have to lift the car to remove the ones at the bottom: On the top of the hood, we find four more, but on the sides, there is one deep inside that is not easy to find.

Now that we have removed the bumper, we need to separate the grille from the bumper itself: there are only four T25 bolts to remove, and then there are only clips around it. However, to detach it, we also need to remove the piece that holds the bumper to the bottom.

There are many types of honeycomb grilles for the Audi A3 8V and they come in all prices, so we do not give a purchasing indication. We reattach the new grille to the bumper, putting the lower piece of the bumper back in place, and then we can reassemble the bumper on the car, starting from the hidden side bolt, then the bottom bolts, then the top ones, and finally the ones from the wheel arches both internal and external.
