How do you change the battery of the key fob for an Audi A3? Let's see in this video how to proceed with the replacement. Take your key fob and press the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a screwdriver to pry between the two key covers. Pry until the cap separates from the cover. Remove the flat battery with a screwdriver and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the two parts of the cover with the buttons by pressing on the key fob until you hear the locking click. Close the metal key back into the fob. Check the proper functioning of the key fob.
