How to replace the key fob battery for an Audi A3

To replace the battery in the key fob for an Audi A3, take the fob and locate the small slot on the side of the casing. Insert the tip of a small flat screwdriver into the slot and gently pry it open to separate the fob cover.

Once the shell is open, locate the battery inside the compartment. Remove the flat battery by lifting it from its seat and insert a new battery of the same type, ensuring the correct polarity orientation.

After placing the new battery, close the fob by pressing the two parts of the casing together until they click.
