Changing the gear knob on Audi A3? Let's see how the rod is disassembled from above. Remove the frame of the leather cap with a plastic lever: lift it up to cover the knob (remove the clamp). We take the knob in our hands and rotate it to the left and right until it is removed from the shift rod. Once the old knob has been removed, take the new one and insert it into the rod on the central tunnel, tighten the same in the rod. Finally, we test the correct assembly of the knob with the movement of the rod on the central tunnel. We mount a knob of equal size and attack.
