How do you remove the steering wheel of the Audi TT?

Model: Audi Tt MK 1, 8N - Years 1998-2006
Part: Steering wheel

In order to remove the Audi TT steering wheel, the steering wheel must be turned 90 degrees to the left in order to loosen the screw at the rear. You have to repeat the same operation by turning the steering wheel 90 degrees to the right. When these two Allen screws have been loosened, it will be possible to remove the airbag, also disconnecting its connector. Subsequently, with a socket wrench, it will be necessary to loosen the nut that fixes the steering wheel to the steering shaft: once the nut has been loosened, it will be possible to remove the steering wheel, which will have to be replaced with a new spare part.
