How to Disable the Passenger Airbag in an Audi TT

To disable the passenger airbag in an Audi TT, open the glove compartment located on the front passenger side. At the top of the compartment, there will be a lock that can be turned using the ignition key. When the key is in the ON position, it means the passenger airbag is active; if it is in the OFF position, the airbag will not be active. Therefore, by turning the lock to OFF and turning on the ignition, the passenger airbag will be properly disabled, which can be confirmed as the corresponding indicator light will illuminate on the center panel.
