To change the battery in your Audi Q8 remote, you need a flathead tool; you can also conveniently use the long blade of a standard Swiss Army knife. Pry open the back of the remote to remove the plastic cover that hides the battery insert. The battery for this remote is a 20/32 (easily found at a hardware store). Once the old dead battery is removed, place the new battery into its compartment and finally reposition the remote cover, ensuring it is inserted the correct way.
