Replace the Key Battery on Audi A3

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the key battery on an Audi A3 by following a few simple steps that will guide you to a correct battery replacement. If you notice that the door of your car does not open or close using the remote buttons, it is likely that the battery has run out. You will need a small flathead screwdriver to lever off the cover, acting on the underside of the remote (see video). Once the cover is removed, you will notice there is a battery in this compartment; replace it with a working battery that matches the one you removed. Reassemble the remote by reversing the steps.
