Replacing the remote control battery of your Audi Q5 is an operation that you can easily do it yourself at home, with patience and the right spare battery. Start by pulling the metal key out of the remote, you need to pull it off on the chrome side of the remote. On the same side, the battery insert is hidden. It is wedged into the remote control by two side clips, when you pull the insert out make sure you don't damage them or the battery will lose electrical contact. Once extracted, dispose of the old battery in a suitable container, replace it with the new one and put the remote control back in the opposite order to what is shown.
