How to Replace the Wheel Bearing

Model: Audi A3 8P, MK 2 - Years 2003-2013
Part: Bearing

This operation should be performed by lifting the car and ensuring safety, as considerable force is required to remove the hub. You may notice the need to replace the wheel bearing due to a continuous noise when it stops functioning correctly. To carry out this operation, remove: the wheel, brake pads and discs, the hub protection cap, and the hub-bearing assembly. Before reassembling everything, thoroughly clean the surfaces of the various parts, the spindle, the strut, and the point where the hub will seat. The new bearing should be pushed onto the spindle evenly, taking care not to disassemble it from the hub.
