How do you remove the door panel from the Audi A4?

Model: Audi A4 B6 - Years 2000-2004
Part: Door trim panel

To be able to remove the door panel of the Audi A4, you must first remove the molding located in the upper part of the panel, immediately above the interior handle. Once this molding has been removed, it will be possible to unscrew the screws below and subsequently also those in the lower part of the panel and near the window control panel. Once all these screws have been removed, you can go and detach the panel and disconnect the connectors inside. Finally, a new panel can be positioned, connecting and fixing it appropriately.

Many models from the Turin manufacturer are equipped with EPS (Electric Power Steering), known as 'city' due to the button on the dashboard that activates the dual drive function, making the steering even lighter at low speeds. It is well known that this device can be faulty, starting with vibrations in the steering wheel and potentially leading to total deactivation with the corresponding warning light illuminated on the dashboard. The fault is often due to wear on the torque sensor integrated within the steering system, but failures related to the control unit are not uncommon. To resolve this issue, it is advisable to have a refurbished power steering unit installed, fully covered by warranty.
