To replace the exterior handle on an Audi A6, open the door and then lift the handle. Once lifted, you can detach the underlying retaining clips and move the handle to the left. Once it is released from its housing, you can completely remove it and insert the new one. Position and snap the new handle into its housing. After installation, check that the handle functions correctly.
