How to factory reset the Audi A6 infotainment system

If you are experiencing several malfunctions with the Audi A6 (latest model) infotainment system then you need to perform a factory data reset. Let's find out how. First turn on the car ignition and center display. Click on the "Home" icon and then on "Settings". At this point click on "System Maintenance" and, finally, on "Restore factory settings". Confirm the operation after reading the warning and wait a few moments. The procedure is now complete. We remind you that all your customized settings will be automatically deleted and you will have to re-enter them again.

Follow these steps to disassemble the parts: use a lever to remove the plastic covers of the instrument cluster.
