Let's see in this short and simple guide how to overhaul and restore the stock alternator of the Audi A4 2.7L. First of all, let's disassemble our alternator, placing it on the bench; then unscrew the fixing screws of the rear body of the alternator, in order to access the coil and the brushes, as shown in the video. At this point we are going to check the state of wear of the magnets and coils, replacing the alternator if damaged; let's clean up with special degreasers and then reassemble everything, applying the reverse procedure!
