Model: Audi A3 MK 1, 8L - Years 1996-2003
Part: Shift knob

To change the gear knob of the Audi A3 we start by first removing the headset by lifting it with a plastic wedge, and with a screwdriver levering off the clamp that holds the knob in place, put the new knob with any original frame of the new gear knob if the frame of the original gear knob does not fit, insert and screw the knob clamp with pliers and at this point screw the cover of the plastic clamp. Replacing the Engine Battery

As this is a generic operation for all types of vehicles, there is no need to specify the make or model. Begin by unscrewing the nut of the clamp located at the base of the battery; loosen the nuts of the terminals on both poles, first removing the positive pole (be careful not to touch metal parts with the terminals). Once the battery is extracted, replace it with one of similar specifications (consult the user manual) and reposition it in its housing, reconnect the terminals starting with the positive to avoid sparks, and tighten the terminal nuts to secure them. The final step is to reapply the clamp and tighten the retaining nut at the base of the battery.
