How to Remove the Clutch Cable on a Peugeot 405

Learn how to remove and replace the clutch cable on a Peugeot 405. Open and lift the bonnet (secure it), then, using a socket wrench, unscrew the locking pins of the clutch cable. Start removing the securing pins of the clutch cable (engine bay and inside the cabin). After unscrewing the bolts from their location, remove them; pull the clutch cable out from inside the vehicle. Once the cable is removed: fit the new part in the engine bay. Finally, tighten the pins securely and test the proper functioning of the clutch. Adjust its tension as necessary.
