In this tutorial, learn how to replace the fuel filter on an Audi A1 1.6 TDI by following these simple steps: First, purchase a new fuel filter. Next, get into the vehicle, turn off the engine, and engage the handbrake. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Begin by removing the filter held by three tabs; then, disconnect the two fuel lines by pressing on the tabs of the connector. Remove the plastic clip from the old filter and place it on the new filter. Once done, fit the new filter in place and reconnect the lines. Connect the diagnostic tool to bleed the fuel system.
