How to replace the Audi A3 gear knob

The gear lever knob of your Audi A3 is one of the most frequently used and therefore most subject to wear and tear components. For this reason it may be necessary to replace it and below we will describe a very simple method which will allow you to carry out this operation in a few minutes. First you have to completely lift and remove the leather cover with the help of a small spatula or similar object. Then also lift the knob and disassemble the entire lever. Replace the old knob with the new one and finally reposition the gear lever correctly to complete the procedure.
