In this video tutorial, you can see how to remove a center console from the Audi A6. You need to remove the trim on both sides; first, from the driver's side, remove this small plastic cover to access the Torx screws. Now, using a pry tool, remove the trim. Once the trim is off, remove the air vent using a metal pry tool. Next, unscrew the nut holding the center console, disconnect the cable, and unscrew the screws located in front of the shifter; remove the automatic shifter cover; now the center console is ready to be removed.
