How to remove the door panel from the Audi A3?

To remove the door panel from the Audi A3, use a tool to pry off the trim along the armrest where the window lift button is located. After disconnecting the underlying connectors, you can completely remove the trim and then loosen the additional fastening screws located at the top of the panel: these are found near the rear-view mirror and the lock. Once these two screws are removed, you can completely detach the panel to replace it with a new part.
