How to activate the green menu on Audi MMI via VCDS

Let's see how to activate the green menu on an Audi MMI using VCDS. We need to go to "select". The control unit to select is the 5F. Select "adaptations". The channel we are interested in is "06" or "development test mode". Enter "1" in the "new value" space and "verify value" and click on "save", it asks if we are sure. Confirm. We can exit. The MMI has turned off. Now we turn it back on and simultaneously press the "car" and "setup" buttons for 5 seconds. This will bring up the green menu. From here, it is possible to cause a lot of damage, so stick to what you can do from the "car" menu, especially the "cardevicelist" menu, and just look at the rest. When you have made a modification, a soft reset must be performed by pressing the three highlighted buttons in the video.

How to Remove the Grille on a Ford Ranger

In this video, learn how to remove the grille located on the front bumper of a Ford Ranger. Prepare to take off the plastic grille: use a socket spanner to unscrew the fasteners securing the grille (located on the inside of the bumper). With a plastic lever, pry between the grille and the bumper until it disengages from its housing. Once the grille is free, remove it from the bumper and fit a new one. Refit the grille onto the car's bumper by pressing it into place and screw the fasteners back in. Check that all parts are correctly mounted.
