How to Change the Headlamp Bulb on an Audi A3

Replacing the front headlamp bulb is quite simple and can easily be done yourself as there is enough space to manoeuvre and nothing needs to be disassembled; therefore, open the front bonnet and remove the cover protecting the headlamp by pressing on the fastening tab, disconnect the power connector of the bulb, unclip the spring holding it in place and pull it out; then insert the new bulb (H7 fitting) orienting it correctly and being careful not to touch the glass with your hands; once aligned and inserted, secure the new bulb by reattaching the spring, reconnect the power connector and reposition the cover.
