In the Audi A3, it may happen that the fuel door gets stuck, for example due to a problem with the control button or the lock actuator. In these cases, it is possible to perform the emergency opening following the simple procedure shown in this video. First, we open the trunk door, then we remove the first panel on the right side of the compartment. Next, we locate the red cord and pull it towards the rear side of the vehicle, in order to open the fuel door. At this point, we can either refuel or repair the faulty element.
