On an Audi A3, the fuel filler door may become stuck, possibly due to a problem with the release button or the lock actuator. In these cases, you can perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this video.

First, open the boot, then remove the first panel located on the right wall of the compartment. Next, locate the red cord and pull it towards the rear of the vehicle to open the filler door.

At this point, you can refuel and repair the faulty component.
