How to open the fuel door blocked in the Audi A3?

In the Audi A3, it may happen that the fuel door gets stuck, for example due to a problem with the control button or the lock actuator. In these cases, we can still perform the emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial. First, we open the trunk door, then we remove the small plastic cap on the right wall of the compartment and unhook it with a flathead screwdriver. Next, we grab the red cord and pull it towards us to unlock the door. The fuel door is now free to be opened.
