Installation of the springs for the automatic opening of the rear tailgate of the Audi A4 8K

Model: Audi A4 B8 - Years 2007-2016
Part: Trunk lock

To install springs that allow for the automatic opening of the rear tailgate of the Audi A4, we open the trunk hood, place a rod to prevent closure, and remove the side dampers. Using a flathead screwdriver, we remove the safety clip from the damper heads, detach the damper from the pins, unscrew the head screwed onto the stem, and insert the spring onto the stem, placing the rubber ring at the base of the threading. We screw the head back on and reattach the damper to the pins, inserting the safety clips with the help of pliers. We repeat the process on the other damper: now, when opening the tailgate with the remote control, it will open by itself, while closing will remain manual.

How to Change the Diesel Filter on a Renault Captur 1.5 dCi

The diesel filter on the Renault Captur is always of the immersion type, but instead of being located at the top of the engine bay, it is positioned lower, inside the front right wheel arch (passenger side), practically under the headlamp. To replace it, it is advisable to lift the vehicle, remove the front right wheel and the corresponding inner lining to access the filter location. Unscrew the fastening nuts of the support clamp to extract it from its housing and disconnect the connector and pipes. At this point, unscrew the fixing screws of the cap, remove the old filter and insert the new one, also replacing the O-ring seals, and then reverse the steps for installation. Before starting the engine, turn the ignition on and off several times to allow the filter to fill.
