As with any maintenance operation, secure the motorcycle in a stable and safe position to work on it. Remove the plastic cover located just below the speedometer and rev counter. To do this, unscrew the two bolts at the sides of the ignition key slot and the two screws at the bottom near the indicators. Now, to access the headlight bulb, unscrew the screws securing the black plastic cover over the headlight's electrical contacts and disconnect the power supply to the bulb. Remove the bulb from its socket after releasing the spring that holds it in place, and insert the new bulb. Finally, reconnect the necessary electrical components and reassemble everything in reverse order.
