Remove the lower side panels on both sides by unscrewing the various bolts, then detach the brake caliper from the disc. At this point, remove the chain using pliers and a flat screwdriver (as shown in the video) and the rear wheel by unscrewing the central spindle. Once you reach this point, you can also remove the swingarm by taking out the central fixing spindle, which is held by a 13 mm bolt on one side and a 17 mm bolt on the other. Slide it out from the bike and place it on a workbench. Here, you can now replace the bearings before starting the reassembly.

To replace the fork seal on a Malaguti XSM 125, loosen the bolts that secure the fork to its housing: these screws will be located at the top of the fork, just below the handlebars, and at the bottom near the wheel. Once all the bolts are loosened, you can free the wheel from its housing, allowing the fork to be detached as well: the seal at the top can be removed using a tool, so it can be replaced with a new one.
