In this tutorial we can see how to replace the engine oil in the BMW R1200 GS, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the engine is sufficiently cold, then remove the lower protective cover and position a container underneath the engine. Next, locate the drain hole bolt, unscrew it using a 10mm hex key, and let all the oil contained in the system drain out. At this point, all that's left to do is unscrew the old filter, tighten both the replacement and the bolt, and pour the new oil through the appropriate hole.
