In this tutorial we can see how to replace the engine oil in the BMW R1200 GS, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the engine is cool enough, then remove the lower protective cover and place a container under the engine. Next, locate the drainage hole bolt, unscrew it using a hex key and let all the oil in the system drain out. At this point, all that's left to do is to unscrew the old filter, tighten the replacement, and pour the necessary amount of oil through the appropriate hole.
