In this tutorial we can see how to replace the motor oil in the BMW R1200 RT, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, make sure that the engine is cold enough, then remove the various indicated plastic covers and place a container underneath the motorcycle.

Next, locate the drainage hole bolt, unscrew it using a hex key and let all the oil contained in the system drain out. At this point, all that's left to do is to unscrew the old filter, tighten both the replacement and the bolt, and pour the necessary amount of oil through the appropriate hole.
