It will be possible to replace the rear brake pads of the BMW R1200 GS by loosening the screws that secure the brake caliper to the corresponding disc: once the screws have been removed, the caliper can be detached from the disc, and then the pin that holds the pads can also be removed.

The old pads can now be taken out of their housing in order to place the new ones in the caliper: they need to be secured with the corresponding pin and the caliper repositioned onto the disc.

Once it has been secured, you can check that everything is functioning properly.
