Today, you will learn how to independently replace the air filter on a 2017 R 1200 GS motorcycle. To carry out the air filter replacement, you need to remove the central plastic cover located above the fuel tank; to do this, loosen the bolts and then remove the plastic, taking care not to damage the clips. Remove the filter cover and using a flathead screwdriver, remove the protective plastic to extract the filter. Insert the new filter and reattach the protective plastic and the air filter cover, then reattach the central plastic on the motorcycle.

How to Remove the Engine from a KTM EXC 300?
