You can replace the front brake pads on a BMW R1250 GSA by loosening the bolts that secure the brake caliper to its housing: once the caliper fixing bolts are loosened, you can detach the caliper and then remove the pin that holds the pads in place. The old pads can then be extracted to insert the new ones: these can now be secured with the corresponding pin, repositioning the caliper onto the corresponding disc and securing it to ensure everything is functioning.
