This guide will show you how to remove and replace the starter motor on a BMW R1150 GS motorcycle. First, place the bike on a stand and begin unscrewing the bolts securing the starter motor, disconnecting the electrical wiring. Remove the coil located in front of the starter motor, then remove the starter motor as shown in the video. At this point, carry out the repair or replace the starter motor with a new one, securing it and reconnecting the electrical wiring. Check the engine starts.
