Changing the engine oil in a BMW K100 can be done by loosening the drain plug located at the central lower part of the bike: once the plug is unscrewed, you can let the engine oil flow into a container placed under the exhaust. At this point, you can also completely remove the oil filter so that it can be replaced with a new spare part: the filter is always located at the bottom of the bike.

Once the drain is closed, you can proceed with topping up by pouring the necessary amount of oil through the filler on the left side.
