First, take your remote and remove the rear plastic cover by prying it off; this will give you access to the remote battery. Remove the battery using a sharp object, and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a 2032 3V). Then, insert it in the correct orientation and reassemble the remote, securing the cover until it clicks into place!
