In this video, we will see how to perform an oil change, carrying out the regular maintenance service, on a 2006 BMW R 1200 GS. First, warm up the engine for a couple of minutes; then position the bike on its stand and remove the drain bolt located under the engine using a T50 Torx key. After allowing the oil to drain for about ten minutes, we can proceed with replacing the oil filter, which is located right next to it; remember to screw in the new filter by hand. All that’s left is to add the new oil!
