Start by positioning your BMW GS1200 on the centre stand. Next, run the engine for a few minutes to make the oil more fluid. Once done, unscrew and remove the lower oil drain nut to allow the engine oil to drain out. When all the engine oil has drained, re-screw the lower nut, then unscrew and remove the upper filler cap. At this point, add the new engine oil, then re-screw the filler cap. Once you have completed this step, the engine oil change will be finished.
