How to change the engine oil of a BMW GS 1200

Let's start by placing our BMW GS1200 on the central stand. Next, we will have to run the engine for a few minutes to make the oil more fluid. Once this is done, we will have to unscrew and remove the lower oil drain nut, thus allowing the engine oil to flow out. When all the engine oil has run out, we will have to screw the lower nut back on, then unscrew and remove the top filler cap. At this point we will have to fill in the new engine oil, and then screw the filler nut back on. When we have completed this step, the engine oil change will be complete.

How do you change the Piaggio MP3 engine oil?

The Piaggio MP3 engine oil change is carried out by unscrewing the oil drain plug which is positioned in the lower part of the bike, immediately in front of the rear wheel. Once the cap has been opened, it will be possible to let the used oil flow into a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug there will be the oil filter, which must be extracted from its seat and replaced with a new spare part. After the replacement, it will also be possible to close the drain plug and top up from the special vent.
