To replace the engine oil on a BMW F850GS, unscrew the Torx 15 screw that secures the oil drain plug. It is advisable to place a container under the drain to catch the used oil. Next, loosen the secondary bolt, located in the same hole, with a 5 mm hex key: this will allow further oil to drain out. Once all the oil has drained, you can reinsert the drain plug. Finally, top up with new oil through the designated reservoir cap.
