How do you change the engine oil of the BMW F850GS?

In order to change the engine oil of the BMW F850GS you have to unscrew the 15 torx screw that fixes the oil drain plug. It is advisable to place a tray under the drain in order to recover the used oil. Subsequently it will be necessary to loosen the secondary bolt, always placed in the same hole, with a 5 mm hex wrench: this will allow a further leakage of oil. When all the oil has flowed out, it will be possible to insert the drain plug again. In conclusion, it will be necessary to top up with the new oil from the special tank cap.

The Piaggio MP3 engine oil change is carried out by unscrewing the oil drain plug which is positioned in the lower part of the bike, immediately in front of the rear wheel. Once the cap has been opened, it will be possible to let the used oil flow into a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug there will be the oil filter, which must be extracted from its seat and replaced with a new spare part. After the replacement, it will also be possible to close the drain plug and top up from the special vent.
