In this brief guide, let's see how to access and replace the battery on a BMW R1100 R motorcycle, following the instructions below. First, position the bike on the centre stand and remove the rider and passenger seats; then unscrew the side screws of the plastic fairings located under the tank, as shown in the video.

At this point, disconnect the fuel hoses and lift the tank from the bottom to remove it; underneath, you will find the battery compartment, where you will disconnect the terminals (positive and negative) to replace it!
