This guide will show you the instructions to remove and replace the engine air filter on the BMW R1200 RT. First, place your motorcycle on a stand and start by removing the right side fairing; then disconnect the electrical connector and remove the upper tank cover, giving you access to the air filter box, as shown in the video. Next, remove the cover and extract the cartridge, replacing it with the new one; install the new filter in the correct orientation and reassemble everything!
