How to replace engine oil in BMW R1200RT?

In this tutorial we can see how to change the oil in the BMW R1200RT. First of all, slightly heat the oil by making a short journey, then place a container under the engine and unscrew the drain bolt. Once all the oil has come out, unscrew the filter with the special key and insert the spare part together with a new gasket. At this point we can tighten the drain bolt, unscrew the top cap and proceed with the introduction of new 15W-50 oil, recommended by BMW. In total, we will need about 4 liters of oil.

The Piaggio MP3 engine oil change is carried out by unscrewing the oil drain plug which is positioned in the lower part of the bike, immediately in front of the rear wheel. Once the cap has been opened, it will be possible to let the used oil flow into a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug there will be the oil filter, which must be extracted from its seat and replaced with a new spare part. After the replacement, it will also be possible to close the drain plug and top up from the special vent.
