In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in the BMW K75S, a very simple and quick operation. Before doing this, ensure that the key is not inserted for safety. Start by opening the seat, then remove the left fairing panel and locate the hole at the bottom of the small glove compartment. Insert a screwdriver into this hole, leverage the clip, and unlock the connector of the control unit. At this point, simply disconnect both terminals, unscrew the bolt of the mounting bracket, and proceed with the battery replacement.

As shown, it is located behind the front storage compartment, positioned under the handlebars. To access it, first open the compartment, then remove the right cover by unscrewing the relevant screws with a cross-head screwdriver. Once done, unscrew the additional screws of the battery cover with a Torx T25 key, extract it, and disconnect both terminals with the same screwdriver. To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
