In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the front headlight bulbs on the BMW R1200 R, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure the key is not inserted, then locate the two screws on the lower edge of the headlight and unscrew them using a Torx screwdriver. Then unscrew the two side bolts, separate the headlight from the base, and disconnect the power connector. At this point, we can open the rear door, remove the faulty bulb and insert the replacement. To reassemble everything, just follow the reverse procedure.

First of all, we put our motorcycle on the stand and begin to unscrew the oil vent bolt that we find under the engine, letting it drain into a container for about ten minutes; after which we unscrew the screws of the oil filter cover, replacing the cartridge with the new one. At this point we unscrew the gear oil filler screw, top up and finally check the transmission oil level!
