How do you replace the horn of the BMW K1600 GTL?

In order to replace the horn of the BMW K1600 GTL, you need to loosen the screws that secure the left front fairing, so that it can be detached from its housing: after removal, you will be able to locate the horn underneath. This can now be freed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and loosening the fixing screws; this will allow you to insert the new replacement piece and secure it properly. Then you can reinstall the side panel of the fairing, making sure that everything functions correctly.
