To change the engine oil of a BMW G310R, start by positioning the motorcycle on a flat surface and make sure the engine is warm but not too hot. Locate the oil drain plug and remove it using an appropriate wrench. Place a collection container under the oil drain plug on the oil pan and unscrew the plug to allow the used oil to drain. Once the drainage is complete, screw the drain plug back on. Remove and replace the oil filter using an oil filter wrench. Apply some new oil on the gasket of the new filter before installation. Fill the engine with new oil through the fill cap opening until reaching the recommended level. Check the oil level using the dipstick and add oil if necessary. Screw the oil fill cap back on and make sure it is securely tightened. Start the engine and check for any oil leaks. Finally, recheck the oil level and add oil if necessary.
